A bit overrated but it works

Perhaps it is just that it takes a minimum of 4-6 pounds of chocolate in order to achieve the perfect flow without gaps and clumps. It is however, easy to clean and to assemble. Takes a bit longer than one might think to heat but this process will prevent scorching. The issue lies in one having to stay close to prevent clumps and gaps and to maintain the perfect amount of chocolate for a visually effective presentation.

Not as good as my last chocolate fountain: less sturdy. Directions for how much chocolate was needed did not seem to work for me. How can this be so difficult? I don't know, but it was!!

It works good! I’m only giving it 3 starts cus while bringing it out on my daughters birthday it was a complete fail. Chocolate harden really quick there was no flow . It was bad. Then i wanted to test it before I returned it. I did nacho cheese and it worked great. I figured the best way to get the chocolate flowing it melting it in a pot with a tad bit of oil so the chocolate can become really liquidy and have that good flow. Decided not to return

Smaller than assumed. It needs 4 pounds of chocolate to flow, but 4 pounds barely fits in the fountain. You have to add chocolate as it melts and goes through. More difficult than I presumed it would be. It would be helpful to have a larger bowl.

Worth buying - but must prime it with the chocolate to get it to flow -- which is fine, but needs to be in instructions.

Product works great, instructions need work. Once the chocolate is melted in the machine you need to prime it (pour chocolate in the top). Then this product works like a dream. We had a party for 6 hours and this thing worked great --- after we primed it. the key here is ... Prime the machine.

Used chicken wing hot sauce mixed with corn starch rather than chocolate in the fountain. This was an effective adaptation of this product for the purpose of dipping chicken wings in hot sauce. There was a bit of noise, but other than that our experience was very satisfactory.

Have used it just as a trial. Will use it at a wedding reception in July. Worked great with the Sephra Belgium milk chocolate .
