this chocolate fountain was LOVED by all the girls at my daughters 10th bday party!!! easy to assemble and the clean up wasn't bad either. would recommend buying the chocolate for the fountain. it was $15 for 2 lbs. however it was delicious and I didn't have to add anything to it

As a chef who plans on going into catering, I researched this purchase excessively. I spent a few extra dollars and was very happy with the product. Cleaning up with anything containing cocoa is never fun, but fill the sink with soapy water, submerge the removable parts and have at it - quite easy. The base requires a little care, just tip it on its' side over the sink, wipe the bowl with a sponge and rinse with the vegetable sprayer. By the way, the performance was excellent.

I bought this for my granddaughter. We used it for her birthday party, it was a complete success, everyone at the party just loved it. It worked great for about 4 hours then it quit. We cleaned it immediately, and it was very easy to clean. We waited for hours, and even they next day to let it cool down, but the motor wouldn't come on. I emailed Sephra, and they immediately sent me a new one, and said they would would pick up the broken one. I was very happy with the fountain. I buy lots of stuff with Amazon, review very little, but this was great, and the customer service was even better.

This is the real thing. Not too big but will hold about 4 lbs of chocolate. It is very elegant for small home parties up to 30 people (more if refilled). It is about the size of a crock pot or 8 cup rice cooker at the base. and the three tears allow about 6 to 8 individuals to congregate at the same time depending up on the table perhaps more. This will melt the chocolate by itself just allow enough time one or two hours. Don't be afraid to set this up early and let the chocolate flow until the party. It seems it can flow all night. It makes the chocolate warm not hot (it's not Willy Wonka and the Hot Chocolate River), you can't drink it, but it is good. My wife and 13 year old doughtier love it. It is not a toy, we save the left overs in a container in the fridge and re use it.
This Sephra Will Be The Optimal Size For Most and a Better Value Than Going With a Less Expensive Brand

Was a definite hit at our latest family gathering and most definitely a much more quality machine, although more expensive, than the initial one we bought that was made by a different company. In the end, buying this model is a better value than going with a less-expensive, albeit lesser quality, fountain in the beginning, only then possibly having to buy-up to get the results you want during your get-together. We used Sephra's Premium Milk Chocolate which both tasted great and worked well in the machine. 4 lbs of chocolate in this fountain makes for a whole lot of dipping; would caution against getting a bigger unit unless you are sure you really, really need one. Cleaning this fountain is a chore but no more or less than cleaning any other chocolate fountain that I am aware of. I would recommend this fountain for all but the largest of parties of full-blown chocoholics!

Just as promised - easy to assemble, easy to clean. Used it for BBQ sauce. Followed the directions for thinning the BBQ sauce slightly with vinegar and it flowed beautifully. Never any spurting - nice even flow. Very quiet once the sauce was distributed. Only thing to know is that the BBQ sauce that we used clearly has some red dye in it (Baby Ray's) and the clear plastic parts were stained pink by the sauce.
