Just used it and it worked perfectly, it's not loud at all and it ran for 6 hours without problems, i used the sephra milk chocolate and it was amazing. i couldn't find that chocolate here on amazon so i bought it at SamsClub 50 dollars for 10 pounds.

What can I say, this fountain was the hit of the party. We purchased it for New Year's the construction quality is very good it appears that will last for many years to come. You have to pre-melt the chocolate in order for to work properly. Occasionally you have to turn it off for a few seconds to let the air escape which naturally builds up. Cleaning is a breeze and is easily disassembled.
Sephra makes Amazing Chocolate Fountains!

I bought this fountain, which is the smallest of Sephra's line of chocolate fountains, for my daughter's Sweet 16 Party. It was a huge hit! It is a VERY NICE looking fountain and VERY QUIET! I found it very helpful to watch the YouTube videos by Sephra. I used the Sephra Milk Chocolate because you don't have to add anything to the chocolate to get the right consistency. It's perfect out of the bag. VERY IMPORTANT: Once you have started the fountain and it doesn't look like the beautiful flow that it should be, you NEED TO BURP THE FOUNTAIN. You do this by turning off the fountain switch (leaving the heat switch on), and wait till you see the air bubbles escape out of the top of the fountain. Once the bubbles stop, turn the fountain on again. It should be PERFECT after that! This was more expensive than other brands of fountains, but the QUALITY of this fountain is WELL WORTH IT! It looks like this fountain will last for years of use.

See this for my daughter's sweet 16 party. It was a huge hit. For 3 and 1/2 hours multiple teens came and ate strawberries, marshmallows and other goodies. The chocolate flowed beautifully after being warmed in the microwave. It was a little clunky when we first plugged it in but my husband unplugged it to look at it and when we plugged it back in when got that beautiful flow. He said he thought there was an air bubble. We will definitely use it for our next party. 4 pounds of chocolate was plenty for 30 people with a good amount left over.

WE ordered this for our son's 13th birthday as this was his request over a cake. What a FUN thing to use and oh my gosh, the amount of chocolate consumed by 22 teenagers....it was unreal. Being teen boys, I saw flamin' hot cheetos dipped in chocolate as well as the traditional items. Eeek. Anyhow, about the product. We used the recommended chocolate and followed directions to a T and it never had any issues with flow. Fun great product!
