Q: What is the blue button on the machine for?
A: The blue button works like the pedal, it temporarily stops the chocolate flow.
Q: When in standby mode, is it best practice to clean the spout out or will the chocolate melt in there once starting up again?
A: When you activate the standby mode, the machine makes the auger spinning backwards for one minute in order to empty the spout from chocolate.
Q: How long can the machine be kept in standby mode for?
A: With the list in place, you can keep in machine standby mode for 2-3 days. Longer will see the chocolate heading towards fully solidifying. We would recommend turning on the unit for a couple of hours every few days if you are needing it for consecutive weekends, if not using daily.
Q: Would I be able to put in chocolate callets un-melted and turn the machine on standby right away? Or would I have to turn the machine on and click start and have it go through the cycle then click standby once done. Wondering because the faucet turns on after an hour if I just hit start so trying to see if I could do it without having the faucet start?
A: Yes, it is possible to activate the STANDBY mode before the standard cycle is completed and chocolate has started to flow.
