Cheese fondue fountain party ideas

As the holiday season approaches, there’s lots to do. Home made fare is top of the menu but wouldn’t we all love to serve up a dish that doesn’t take three days to prepare?

Here at Sephra, we don’t like to be stuck in the kitchen any more than you do, so all our cheese fondue suggestions are super easy.

Our party food hacks are also guaranteed to give you lots of bang for your buck!

Nacho Cheese Fountain

Don’t save this dish just for . Serve it up for family, friends, co-workers and other guests whenever you fancy!

To make the easiest ever cheese fondue, just buy a big can of from the likes of Costco or Amazon and add stock or chicken broth till it reaches your desired consistency.

Add it to your fountain and grab a bag of tortilla chips!

To turn your Nacho Cheese Fountain into a main dish – and your Christmas party food centerpiece – by surrounding it with taco meat, chopped tomatoes, sour cream, chopped olives, refried beans, chopped green onions, salsa and, of course, lots of chips!

This is a great self-serve main dish or for MAJOR nachos or Christmas party appetizers. It all depends on what you serve to go with your cheese fondue.

Bleu Cheese or Ranch Fondue

You will need 2 cups Bleu Cheese Dressing (or for variety); 5-10oz and 3-8oz of cream cheese.

Melt all the ingredients to a smooth consistency and use your to determine whether the mixture is ready to put in the fountain.

If the dressing runs through the cup in 8-10 seconds, it’s good to go. If it’s too thick, add chicken broth till you get the perfect flowing consistency.

Now, grab those wings and some celery sticks and you’ll swear you’re in Buffalo where this whole thing is supposed to have started!

Just don’t turn the heat switch on the fountain, as you’ll want to serve this dressing at room temperature.

Velveeta Cheese Fondue

You will need 2lb (32 oz) cheese; 8oz cream cheese, and 10.5oz chopped tomatoes with green chillies.

For best results, run the tomatoes through your blender to form a smooth texture so the little chunks don’t “break” the cheese fountain curtain.

Melt all ingredients in a saucepan over a very low heat until melted, using chicken broth, water or milk to thin the mixture to the proper consistency.

Then add to your preheated fountain, turn on the heat and go!

Swiss & Cheddar Cheese Fondue

For this cheese fondue recipe, you will need 3tbsp butter; 2tbsp corn starch; 2 cups milk; 2 cups finely shredded mild Cheddar cheese; 2 cups finely shredded Swiss cheese, and 1 tsp salt.

Melt the butter over a low heat then add the corn starch and stir till combined. Mix in the salt and slowly add the milk.

Stir continually until the roux is boiling. Boil for one minute while continuing to stir.

Turn the heat down and add the cheese. Mix just until the cheese is melted and transfer to your fountain. If you have extra, just add it when your basin starts getting low.

Again, add extra milk to reach the desired flowing consistency.
