Sephra Easy Crepe, Crepe Press
The Sephra Plus, Waffle Baking System - Fixed Easy Crepe, Crepe Press: Fresh, fluffy crepes made easy!
Ready to serve up delicious crepes without the drama of flipping them in a pan? The The Sephra Plus, Waffle Baking System - Fixed Easy Crepe, Crepe Press helps you produce warm, slightly thicker crepes that customers love. Perfect for cafés, market stalls, and dessert counters, it offers a fuss-free way to keep your menu exciting.
Built for Busy Days
When you’re juggling orders, the last thing you need is fussy equipment. This crepe press has a sturdy build to keep up with a hectic schedule - just flip the top plate up to load or remove your crepe, and you’re all set. If your queue is long, you can trust this machine to stay reliable.
Non-Stick Plates and Adjustable Heat
Non-stick plates mean fewer sticky mishaps and faster clean-ups. Dial in the temperature (up to 220°C) to get the texture you want, whether you prefer light and soft or a little bit of crisp. It’s a simple way to keep your crepes looking and tasting great every single time.
Audible Alarm, On/Off Switch, and Preheat Indicator
Who wants to watch a timer all day? The built-in alarm beeps when your crepes are done, so you can focus on chatting with customers or prepping other items. An easy on/off switch makes operation straightforward, and a preheat light shows when it’s hot enough to start cooking - no more guesswork.
Heartier Crepes with Less Hassle
Traditional crepes can be paper-thin and challenging to get right. This crepe press produces a slightly thicker, fluffy style that’s easier for staff to handle. Serve them sweet with chocolate and fruit, or savory with cheese and veggies - it’s up to you. Either way, you’ll add a fun twist to your menu without needing hours of training.

1. Sephra Standard Plates: Remove the two screws (PZ2 Philips head screwdriver) on each side of the baker and gently replace the plates one at a time.
2. Sephra Large Format / Waffle Plus Rotational Plates (waffle ball, waffle fries, long waffle): Remove the four screws (PZ2 Philips head screwdriver) on each side of the baker and gently replace the plates one at a time.
3. Sephra Large Format / Waffle Plus Fixed Plates (crepe press, ice-cream waffle): Unscrew the four feet (by hand), the four base plate screws (2mm Allen key) and remove the base plate. This will reveal the four plate screws (4mm Allen key) for the bottom plate. The four screws (PZ2 Philips head screwdriver) for the top plate are accessible immediately on the top of the carriage. Gently replace the plates one at a time; for the bottom plate it is best to have the baker upside down on your bench, taking note of the top and bottom plate difference if applicable. Remove the top plate first, and replace it last.

Frequently asked question:
Q: Are the crepes made in this press thinner or thicker than traditional crepes?
A: They tend to be slightly thicker, offering a more substantial bite compared to classic thin crepes.
Q: Is it easy to remove the crepes once cooked?
A: The plates have a non-stick surface, so the crepes release easily and reduce mess during peak service.
Q: Does it require any special batter?
A: You can use a standard crepe batter.
Q: How do I clean the plates?
A: Once the press is turned off and cool, wipe away batter residue with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive materials to protect the non-stick coating.
Q: Does the machine rotate?
A: No. The top plate flips open and closed, making it simple to operate.
Q: Is the Sephra Plus, Waffle Baking System safe to use?
A: Absolutely. It holds ETL Electrical, NSF Sanitation, CE, ROHS, and UKCA certifications, meeting stringent safety standards for commercial equipment.
Q: Are Sephra's plates compatible with any other models?
A: Sephra waffle plates are bespoke to Sephra branded bakers. This applies to both the circular plate bakers, and the large format square bakers.
Q: Can I use different shaped plates on my existing Sephra baker?
A: If you are lucky to already own the Sephra Standard Rotational Waffle Baker, your plates can be interchanged between Belgian Waffle, Bubble Waffle, Donut Waffle, Filled Waffle, Mini Belgian Waffle and Skinny Waffles styles. For the Sephra Plus Rotational Bakers, your plates can be interchanged between Waffle Ball, Waffle Fries and Long Waffle on a Stick. For the Sephra Plus Fixed Bakers, your plates can be interchanged between Crepe Press and Ice-Cream Waffle.
Q: How do you change out the plates?
A: Each format noted below. Please ensure your baker is turned off, and has cooled down completely.
Q: How often do you need to change the plates?
A: Longevity will depend on how well the plates are looked after.
Q: What are the best practices to keep your plates in good condition?
A: Clean using a damp cloth and mild dish soap if needed. Best results are whilst the plates are still warm. Avoid cleaning with steel wool, abrasive scrubbers, or harsh cleaners. Stick to silicone, wooden, or heat-safe plastic utensils. Aerosol sprays can leave residue buildup that’s hard to remove and can degrade the coating over time - we strongly recommend against the use of these unless truly sparingly whilst waiting for your new plates to arrive. After washing, dry completely before reinstalling or storing; moisture trapped underneath can cause corrosion or buildup.
Q: Do you recommend the use of aerosolized release agents or oils?
A: We do not. Not only can sprays leave sticky residue that damages the non-stick coating, but over-spraying or “heavy-handed” use can allow the mist to enter electrical components, potentially causing damage or safety hazards.
Q: Are the plates dishwasher safe?
A: While dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended to preserve the non-stick coating.
