What's the difference between Belgian Waffle Batter Mix and Bubble Waffle Batter Mix?

The main difference between Belgian Waffle Batter Mix and Bubble Waffle Batter Mix is that the Belgian is plant-based and 100% vegan.

It's formulated using a combination of wheat, corn and soy flour.

The Bubble Waffle Batter Mix, on the other hand, contains egg – which helps the batter rise and hold its height (hence the Bubble effect) as it bakes and beyond.

Both waffle batter mixes are lactose-free, nut-free and Kosher-certified.

How to make Belgian Waffles

Each 5lb bag of Sephra Belgian Waffle Batter Mix makes around 30-35 Belgian waffles.

To make, pour 2 liters (8.5 cups) of cold water into a mixing bowl. Gradually add the 5lb bag of Belgian Waffle Batter Mix and whisk until smooth.

For smaller batches, use a 90% water to 100% mix ratio.

Preheat your Belgian Waffle Baker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

If using one of Sephra's Waffle Bakers, pour approximately 5oz of mixed batter onto the baker and cook for 2 minutes.

Add your favorite toppings and taste the Sephra difference!

Because Sephra's Belgian Waffle Batter Mix comes in 5 or 30lb packages, it's ideal for either home or commercial use.

All that's needed to create this delicious waffle batter is water! There's no messing with separating egg yolks and whipping the whites, or adding oil or milk.

Using just plain water will produce the best Belgian Waffles your family and restaurant clientele have ever tasted!

Anything good on toast, atop an English Muffin or sandwiched between two pieces of bread, makes an even more interesting food creation using a Belgian Waffle as a launch pad.

One little waffle shop in Scotland has really embraced waffle culture. The . offers just about every savory waffle topping you could imagine – from using waffles as a base for a giant hamburger to topping them with chicken nuggets and beans and even haggis!
