Easy to set up and use from the initial use. Clean up tip: I wipe up any excess chocolate and then soak the bowl in soapy water (this also worked when I didn’t clean right away and the chocolate hardened).

I purchased this product 10/21/2012 for a party I was having. The fountain is amazing! I would really recommend purchasing this item for anyone, especially if you love having guests over. I purchased the manufacturer's Premium Milk Chocolate and it flowed perfectly. I have had no problems with it and I've used it several times since I've had it.

I bought this product for my birthday and it worked perfectly. I used the Sephra milk chocolate with it and got a lovely curtain of chocolate. I recommend that you use 6 lbs of chocolate because as you use the fountain and the chocolate depletes, gaps form in the curtain and you lose the effect. If you have chocolate left over, line a tray with wax paper and put the extra chocolate in it and freeze it.

We bought 2 of these for our wedding and they worked perfectly. They are so much quieter than other retail fountains and have always impressed. We've continued to use them for bridal showers, baby showers, and large parties. Cleaning isn't too difficult because all of the pieces come apart. The basin is a little more difficult to clean since you don't want to submerge it, but after pouring the excess out and doing a bit of "clean up" with some marshmallows, it wasn't bad at all. I have always melted chocolate in a microwave and then poured it in, as it seemed quicker than waiting for the basin to melt the chocolate itself and I have never had any trouble. One thing to consider, is that it does take a lot of chocolate to run so it is not good for smaller gatherings.
