Delish Waffle Pizza Recipes
Scope out the pepperoni, sausage chunks, yep, even some greens, all covered with melty mozzarella to create the perfect waffle pizza. Just shows how versatile our Sephra Belgian Waffle Batter mix can be. The waffle batter, itself, is a snap to make. Just add water to our Belgian Waffle mix, bake in the waffle maker and in two minutes you’ve got the beginning of this tasty Italian masterpiece. Next, top with your favorite pizza ingredients. Use heated, store-bought pizza sauce to slather over the bottom layer and then start piling the waffle high with cooked Italian sausage, pepperoni slices, and all of your family favs. Add some chopped kalamata olives, minced green peppers and thinly sliced red onion, liberally sprinkled with a generous amount of fresh minced garlic, torn basil leaves and sprinkles of dried oregano. To finish, top with loads of grated mozzarella cheese and then add copious amounts of fresh grated Parmesan. Toss in the toaster oven for 5-10 minutes to melt the cheese and heat the ingredients through and you’ve got a taste treat you’ll long remember!! Waffle pizza is different, it’s delicious and definitely deluxe.
How about tossing one of these together tonight, to make your family or customers very happy. Can you just taste the crispy pizza waffle crust? Crunchy on the outside and oh, so tender in the middle. MMMM-mmm
Alfredo Waffle Pizza Recipe
If you’re not a fan of tomato sauce pizza, buy a jar of Alfredo Pasta Sauce; add chopped chicken and heat thoroughly. Leftover chicken from last night, definitely works. Quickly saute some fresh mushrooms with finely minced garlic in some olive oil. At the last minute, throw in 5-6 big handfuls of fresh spinach leaves and stir to just wilt the spinach. (Don’t worry, the spinach will cook down, but you don’t want to overcook it). Again, the cheese is the magic topper; generously scatter mounds of shredded mozzarella over the top and sprinkle with grated Parm to finish off. Pop in the toaster oven until it’s bubbly and slightly browned. Delish!
Oooo Yummy – Dessert Pizza Waffles
There are many ways to make your pizza waffles and I’m sure there are definitely favorites at your house. We’d like to offer our version of the “Dessert Pizza”. Make a batch of regular Belgian Waffle Batter Mix (all you need to add is water…how easy is that?) and for each 2 cups of prepared batter, add 2 Tablespoons of sifted cocoa and 3 Tablespoons of granulated sugar. Bake up your chocolate waffles and start the creative fun.
Dessert Waffle Toppings, OMGosh!!!
Use your waffle as a ‘painters’ canvas’. Slather Nutella into each warm nook and cranny of that chocolate waffle, then with creamy melted Sephra Chocolate Chips, pipe circles of Dark, Milk and White chocolate. With a thin bladed knife, starting in the middle of the “pizza” drag the knife through the chocolate to the edge. Go around the entire Pizza, like you were cutting a pie. It’ll look awesome! Top with sprinkles and teeny marshmallows, fresh strawberries and blueberries and as you serve each expectant guest, heap high with a big scoop of ice cream. Finish your artwork with a wild flourish of Reddi-whip and you’ve served the best dessert, with the least effort and expense.
We certainly hope you’ll try Pizza Waffles at your house. Waffle stations are so popular now at weddings, birthdays and graduations. They are so versatile and everyone can choose their favorite combos.
