Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by hosting a spooky haunted house party?

Even better, why not make your party the tastiest frightfest EVER with a home chocolate fountain?

Here are some ideas for transforming an ordinary house party into a deliciously spooky Halloween event!

Create Halloween chocolate to dye for

Setting up a spooky house party takes careful planning to make sure your guests have a great experience

An excellent way to separate your haunted house experience from others is to reward your victims – ahem... guests – with a scarily good home fountain.

Start with Sephra’s white chocolate and transform it into blood red or dark purple using one of our oil-based colorings.

The chocolate is designed specifically for chocolate fountains and the coloring will pigment the melted chocolate without altering the flavor.

Under low lighting, blood red or dark purple will do the trick of transforming an ordinary home fountain into a haunted chocolate fountain!

Serve spooky dipping treats

There are lots of delicious dipping treats to choose from when it comes to Halloween.

Instead of laying out a tray of cookies, create a tray of lady 'fingers' from finger-shaped shortbread, or sugar cookies with an almond sliver as the fingernail.

Chocolate bat-shaped cookies are great for a spooky theme and taste fabulous dipped in blood red chocolate from the home fountain.

Chopped fruits, such as strawberries, cherries and bananas, are always popular too.

Set the scene for a spooky home fountain experience

Finally, make sure the home fountain display table continues the spooky theme.

Suspend bats from the ceiling so they brush the heads of your guests and keep them jumping. And don't forget to use a black tablecloth beneath the chocolate fountain.

Scatter skulls, large black spiders and spider webs among the dipping treats, so that guests will need to overcome their fears to get to the feast!
