How to make the Chipotle Cheese Fondue

Mix the pepper flakes and salt with the cream and scald. Add cubed cheese and melt over a low heat, stirring constantly.

Add the adobo sauce as desired. Thin to the correct consistency with milk. This recipe makes enough to run through the largest Sephra Home Fondue Fountains.

Serve with a taco bar or just a mountain of tortilla chip. Use the red, green and regular colored chips if celebrating Cinco de Mayo!

Maintain a high heat and scrap the bowl from time to time to keep from burning.

Why celebrate Cinco de Mayo?

Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of Mexican history and heritage.

It’s name literally means “Fifth of May” in Spanish and the event is also known as the Anniversary of the Battle of Puebla.

The holiday is celebrated in parts of Mexico and the United States and commemorates Mexico’s victory over France in 1862.
